Welcome to Barkway Preschool

We promote equality and believe all children are individuals

barkway preschool

Barkway Preschool is a small non-profit making organisation and a registered charity.

Caring for children from the age of two until five, the preschool is run by caring, qualified staff along with a management committee. All involved with the preschool are DBS checked.

We work in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which sets out the learning and development stages for children as they grow from birth to five years.

Children develop more rapidly during the first five years of their lives than at any other time - this is why each individual child is at the centre of the EYFS, with staff working to develop strong relationships with the children and their families. Developing these relationships enables Early Years Practitioners to plan stimulating and fun activities based on their interests and abilities to allow each child's learning to progress.
